The most difficult time of delay in her life had passed. She had submitted her CV, resume, and did the interview, everything they required her to do, and after two weeks of heart dropping anticipation, she finally received a response back from the company. "Congratulations, Miss Lambert, from today on you are an employee of our company. We would send you the schedule tomorrow and you could start working on Monday". The email read briefly. She did not even bother to read the entire thing. Her heart had jumped out of her chest and she backed away, covering her lips with both of her palms, feeling tears nearly gathered around the rim of her eyes.
