Well, forgot about it, Laurence thought, she now was Laura, a woman. Thinking like that, she stepped on the accelerator.
When she arrived at the house at Green, she took a quick shower and then went to bed.
The next day, there was a regular knock on the door.
Laurence was kind of used to it. Half-awake, she washed up and had breakfast. Then Daisy started to dress her up.
When she saw the gorgeous dress on her, sleepiness vanished. She turned to Daisy and helplessly looked at her.
"I'm just on a show, I won't walk the red carpet, honey. I can dress casually."
"No. It's your first show. You have to dress gorgeous. Well, I think you look perfect."
With that, Daisy glanced over Laurence with satisfaction. Sure enough, Laurence was more charming in her finery, she thought.
