“Thank you, Hale!”
Laurence thanked Hale and hurried to her room. Soon, she found the passport, stuffed a few sets of clothes into her trunk, and went to the parking lot with them.
“What’s the departure time of my brother’s air ticket?”
She fastened the safety belt and asked Hale.
Hale looked at his watch and answered, “We have two hours.”
“Can we get to the airport on time?”
The house was in the suburbs, some distance from the airport. She was worried that she couldn’t catch the flight.
“Don’t worry. We can get there in one hour if there was no traffic jam.”
Then the car rushed out.
Unluckily, there was a traffic jam on the highway.
“Laurence, we only have half an hour. I’m afraid that we can’t get to the airport.”
Hale said apologetically after checking the time.
