8 The slipstream stung Terzi’s eyes and swept away his tears. His eyes were slits, tunnel vision on the Al Jumeirah expressway connecting the Crescent to the mainland. In his mind’s eye he kept seeing Rashnikov falling, the blood pooling, the defeated realisation on his friend’s face. How had the Russians found them? No, that was possible, in fact it would happen… eventually. But bin Rashid should have warned them.
