We stayed in the hospital for extra day, then left the following day. Aurora was feeling much better and she seemed to have gotten her excited mood back.
“Aren't you hungry?” She poked me by the side and smiled widely. She still had that childish playfulness about her. She was still eighteen anyway, but she'd be turning nineteen in a month. I liked the fact that even though her life changed abruptly the moment her late mother got into a fatal accident, and I proposed to marry her, she still had that positive look and vibe around her.
I tucked in two strands of curly hair that had fallen off the bun beside her ears. “I am famished. What should we have?”
