Todd leaned forward, putting his hands on her desk. “I’m positive. I’ll prove it to you.” He opened the small bag he’d brought of magnetized iron shavings and salt, wet his finger and swiped it through, then stuck his finger in his mouth and swallowed the mixture. “No one that is human will even know it’s in the food. It’ll just go on through and out the other side if you get my meaning. Look, Captain, we’re all soldiers here. Nick and I are simply a different sort of soldier. But we are all trying to achieve the same ends. We probably can’t take Raleigh down, but we can sure stop his plans.”
She took the small bag from Todd. “How much of this will we need?”
