Khione stared up at her father with a pale look. Somehow, she felt as if she had been slapped and she did not know why. After all, although Ares was one of the few people in the palace that showed her warmth, she couldn't really say that they were too close. However, hearing her grandfather tell her to stay away from him made her feel empty and hurt.
