Khione stared at the Elders wordlessly as they continued on their lively conversation after dropping the news of her father's situation to her. She tried to involve herself in the conversations but she couldn't stop thinking about her father. She wanted to know what had caused the most prideful of Alphas to suddenly give up his title and live as a regular wolf in a pack? All she could come up with was that he was threatened but if that were the case, what could he have possibly been threatened with? She needed to find out the truth as soon as possible.
Finally after what felt like eons, the three elders dismissed themselves.
"Thank you for the tea," Judge Rune said. "It was lovely."
