Khione couldn't believe how slowly the case was progressing. It had been four days since the Emperor's fox was caught in the middle of his criminal act yet aside from being imprisoned, nothing else had been done. The guardians were still out looking for the missing Emperor and although the word had got around that the Emperor was the murderer, the council was working hard to do some much needed damage control.
"The council just voted the Alpha Prince as the stand in Emperor," Felix informed Khione. "What do you plan to do now?"
"Nothing," Khione shrugged in response.
"Nothing?" Felix gave her a wide eyed look. "Macy will soon be announced as his next bride and you're going to do nothing about it?"
