Chapter 21
As the small group of four came to the house, Dante saw the frustrations in Faith’s eyes and said, “Hey, I got a cable from Selena and she said they would be back tomorrow and had news. Let’s all eat dinner and get a good night’s sleep. Things may be changing drastically tomorrow, ok?” He hoped that would help Faith with having something to look forward to. Dinner was lighthearted and jovial. It appeared that the guardians were not only good at protecting, but at cooking as well. Christian and Damien handled making some grilled chicken for everyone while Seth helped cook the vegetables from the garden.
