Forest wild

Kendrick I look at my reflection in the mirror as I styled my hair. The scars were still visible, my cobra tattoo had covered most of them but some were still visible like they didn't want to fade rather remain tormenting me at night. For some split second, I thought I saw her standing behind me with her hands on her chest, a dazzling smile on her lips. "Handsome." She would always say. I blinked just to find a large void and emptiness. She was long gone! Why do I hallucinate? I couldn't save her! I was powerless, but I did pay the son of b***h back. I always fail to banish those memories no matter how hard I tried, I see them, I dream of them, they haunt me like ghosts haunt graveyards. The best of them all was when I pressed the trigger, oh how good it was to see my terror fall.
