Another day went by and I barely did well. It takes courage to keep the race, even when you know it might be impossible.  I recite the speech to myself every day when I look in the mirror. It would be better sooner or later. I was determined to make it work, to make my situation turn for the better. I wouldn't call it determination, rather I would call myself desperate for acceptance.  Every day after dinner I walk by the door to the workout hall, waiting on instructor José to show up when he does we go in together and do a little race to the finish line after which I would thank him and allow him to himself, then I would return to my room to gather what my faults were in a paper and try to correct them in the next work out the flowing day.
