"Daddyy..." I heard Toby cries from his room, I've just put him down for bed, great, now I ruined my own baby sleep. I went to his room, he was sitting up in his crib, hugging the same unicorn and crying.
"It's okay little guy go back to sleep" I try and fail to get him to lie down again, his paci is somewhere lost in his sheets, his eyes are getting red and his cries louder. This is a lost fight, I pick him up into my arms and search for the paci, once founded I took it toward the bathroom for a wash before giving it back to him.
