I came to the states ten tears ago. Dad had a job raise and we all moved here. Mom opened her restaurant. It started small but over the years it has been growing. I studied to become a chef cause it's always been my passion. I graduated college last year and now I work in the family restaurant. Dad works as a lawyer. We do really well.
The one thing I haven't found is love. I'm 21 years old and no one has caught my attention. They're all too superficial, I just want someone real who I can connect with.
I went to the front to ask ma something, when someone stopped me.
"Hi, I was wondering about the open spot to be a waitress." She said sheepishly.
"We're a little short in staff and desperate, so the job is yours. You can start tomorrow."
"No interview?" She asked me. I just chuckl
