Trinity was woken up by her buzzing alarm, followed by sudden tiredness. After a while of self-motivation including reminding herself multiple times that today was the last day of school, finally, she managed to get herself to the shower. Brushing her teeth she adjusted the temperature and the pressure of the water. Relaxation instantly took her the moment she got in. The lavender-scented foam washed to her feet as she rinsed her hair. Standing directly under the showerhead she enjoyed the water for a little longer. A rapid wave of excitement washed over her as Xavier crossed her mind. She always felt at ease at his side, a feeling of tranquility. There was no such thing as judgment between them & they could talk about anything. They had always been close and she knew he felt the same. A soft knock broke her of her Trans, 30 minutes till breakfast Trinity." She heard through the layer of wood and glass. She wrapped herself in a violet towel, heading straight for her walk-in closet. The lights automatically switched on the instant she walked in. today she decided to wear an ocean blue summer dress with pumps for the last day of school. Her make-up was light, almost non-existent but there. She took her things then walked out. She found her mother, her brothers, and her step-dad already at the dining table. The sound of forks and knives clashing with the plates filled the vacuum that had consumed the room, which all simultaneously stopped as she moved to her seat. All the males in the room stood as she took her seat, a sign of respect & edict. “Good morning,” Trinity utters head bowed as the males sat down. “Morning darling,” Miranda said as Marie placed Trinity’s breakfast on the place-mat in front of her. On today’s menu were hash browns, eggs sunny side up, and pancakes with light syrup on top. “Marie please pack the boy’s bags, they will be leaving us today,” with a nod she walks away. Miranda turns her attention to her daughter,” Trinity have you packed yet?” “Yes mother I have,” she smiles up at her mother weakly. “Good,” she smiles warmly down at her. AT SCHOOL “I guess you can find trash anywhere these days!” Chloe, the head cheerleader gave a sinister laugh as she passed by Trinity. She rolled her eyes stipping at her locker, she had three pictures of her, Owen, and Romeo on its door. She took the books she needed before the bell rang. Slouched in her chair she doodled as the English teacher droned on about some grammar gibberish. English had always been like a free period for her since she never really needed to listen. Time flew by so fast she hardly realized before the end of the day. “ So you going to your dad’s place straight after school or what?” Owen asked coming up alongside her. “Straight after school,” she pouted. “Bummer, there’s a party at Bruise’s place,” he pouted back. “Owen you weren’t supposed to tell her, you know she already feels bad about going to her dad’s place and you only making it worse,” Romeo said coming out of nowhere. “Thanks, Romeo at least someone gets it,” she rewards him with a smile and Owen with a scowl. “You were supposed to tell her when I was there, now look I have to imagine her reaction,” Romeo continued looking genuinely disappointed. “Oh brother,” Trinity rolls her eyes then walks off. “Hey, wait up!!” they both chased after her. With Chloe She’s so pathetic she ain’t even get friends,” Chloe continues to preach to her faithful followers. “ What do they even see in her anyway,” she says glaring holes into Trinity’s back. “Whatever it is I will find it and break it. They are mine and I don't like to share,” she declares her diabolical plan as Kimberly nodded vigorously. “What’s the point anyway?” Alice said filing her nails, paying more attention to her bubblegum than the conversation. “Ahgg jeez,” Chloe pushes past them. The boys wait with Trinity for her ride to arrive. “Well this is it,” the car pulled up and a guard loaded their bags. “We’re gonna miss you man,” Owen said in a muttered, she giggled then went on her toes to hug him goodbye and a kiss on his cheek. “Hey I also want one, no I want two,” Romeo grinned down at her. She stood in front of him with her hands folded, head tilted to one side. “Fine!” he lunged forward, picked her up then twirled her in a hug. “AHH! Put me down,” pink-colored her face. She gave him a kiss on the cheek then another before she got into the car followed by her brothers then left. ***************************
