Jeongguk was up all night fighting with his emotions. After Jimin left him he didn't bother following him, both of them needed time and space to think what happened a few moments ago. After chugging down glasses of wine he drunk dialed the only person who would knock some sense into him, Namjoon.
Namjoon was surprised to hear Jeongguk drunk dial him and call him to his room especially when he knew he and Jin were going to leave in the morning. They had planned to get away for a while and also check up on their warehouse in Japan. He wasn't much surprised when he saw a drunk Jeongguk holding a bottle of wine in one hand and massaging his forehead with the other.
"By the looks of it I think you fought with Jimin?" Namjoon asked as he carefully passed the broken glass in his way and saw Jimin's absence.
"I'm confused hyung" Jeongguk finally got the courage to reply. Even in this state his words were stable without any stutter although his eyes looked tired and red.
"What did you do?"
"You know how I've been stressed over this whole Jackson issue. First it was my spot but now Jimin and as if that wasn't enough Jimin dropped another bomb on me today"
"What bomb?"
"He's f*****g pregnant!" Jeongguk spitted out, there wasn't one reason that would justify his anger, there were plenty.
"OMG! Congratulations! You're going to b-" Namjoon excitedly got up to give Jeongguk a hug but got pushed back, making him more confused.
"NO! This is not something to congratulate me! He's f*****g pregnant!"
"I don't know what's wrong with you but I'm not liking your reaction at all. What's wrong if he's pregnant if the situation were reversed and it was Jin I'd be over the moon!"
"Well it's me! What wrong is that he's pregnant. I already have a lot on my plate and I come back worrying about Jimin on how to protect him from that leach but he dropped another news. I can't focus on multiple things at the same time. What should I do? Huh should I care for Jimin and his baby or focus on protecting him and fighting off that Leach?"
"I can't believe I'm hearing this from you! I thought you loved kids and when you got blessed with one you're...there's something wrong with you Gguk"
"Yes! Obviously there's something wrong with me. I'm the f*****g jackass who's carrying all the responsibilities. There's a time for everything and right now is the worst time he could have picked to get pregnant!"
"WHAT THE f**k IS WRONG WITH YOU!" Namjoon yelled at him, disgusted by his thoughts. He never expected Jeongguk to react and think this way.
"Everything"
"No! You... You're messed up. He didn't choose to get pregnant, it wasn't up to him so how can you blame him. You both are responsible for this. And so what if he's pregnant you should be grateful someone gave you a blessing to have a family. Haven't you desired to make your own family? Then what's this?"
"I want a family but what if Jimin spends all his time looking after the baby... What about me? We hardly get to spend time together and now-"
"Don't let your insecurities get in between your happiness. He's your baby as well. If Jimin's going to spend his time with the baby don't forget that you would too. You both will. And I can already guess why Jimin is not here and trust me you told him the worst thing a pregnant person would wish to hear and I can't believe I'm saying this to you but I'm disappointed"
"I-i was shocked... If he founds out about this he'd come after both of them or what if he...kills the baby?" Jeongguk replied, finally his mind started to think properly realizing what he did.
"Where is he! I need to talk to my baby" Jeongguk panicked as he got up stumbling, his head started to ache by the amount of alcohol he consumed. He messed up and now Jimin hates him.
"H-hyung he hates me now" Jeongguk cried drooping on his knees. All memories of the previous event coming back to him, all his harsh words, his reaction, his ignorance. Namjoon was quick to pick him up and take him towards his bed.
"Give him some time to cool down. I'm sure he's hiding and we all know that no one besides him and Taehyung know about that place so it's pointless. Wait till morning okay" Namjoon reasoned out as he took of Jeongguks shoes to make him more comfortable.
Jeongguk made him worry a lot. Especially now that Jimin is pregnant he doesn't know if he should leave or not.
