"Gguk?"
"Yes muffin?"
"Where are the customers? Isn't a restaurant supposed to be filled with people?" Jimin asked looking around to find all the tables empty except for theirs of course.
"It's an expensive place so.... You know many people can't afford to come here" Jeongguk casually lied to which the waiter standing besides him rolled his eyes.
"Oh... To bad. At least the other restaurants are full" Jimin said pointing towards the window where he could see the whole street packed with people going in and out. If only he knew how Jeongguk had booked the whole restaurant just so no one could gawk at his precious baby while they go out for their first date.
"Yeah. Enough about that why don't we order now"
"Oh yes! I want to have Alfredo pasta!" Jimin excitedly told the waiter, who was judging him. Why was this boy so hyper.
"And you sir?"
"I'd have the same with red whine and your f*****g eyes if you won't stop staring at him" Jeongguk growled at the now terrified waiter who wasn't expecting him to notice.
"I-i umm yes sir" he replied and rushed back inside.
"He wasn't looking at me gguk, stop scaring people off. I thought I would be able to talk to people here but it's empty and now you scared him off too" Jimin whines, his lips coming into a pout automatically.
"Sorry muffin but I do need to be on alert, especially when we're outside" Jeongguk replied giving his lover a small smile to not to worry much. With the current situation on hand he can't relax, he has to be on alert all the time.
"Anyhow... I was thinking maybe tomorrow we could go out to buy some stuff. I need to buy a few more shoes, I hardly had any for going outside" Jimin said as he moved back a bit to let the waiter set their dishes down.
"You can order them onlin-"
"No!" Jimin protested, slamming his small fist down harshly on the wooden table, startling both Jeongguk and the waiter.
"But-"
"No buts! I need to go and visit every shop, try on ever shoe and see if they're comfortable. I don't want to see them from your stupid tab and blindly order one" Jimin argued back, glaring at Jeongguk who was trying his best not to lash out in front of an audience.
Jimin on the other hand didn't care if he was acting like a spoiled brat because he had enough of sitting inside the huge lonely mansion that he calls home. He never wished to live in luxury and laze around all day. He just wanted to go out normally, walk around parks, go on shopping dates or grab fast food just like any normal teenager his age would.
"I don't want our first date to go this rough, we'll talk about this later so finish your meal first" Jeongguk bluntly replied, ignoring the poor boy who felt dejected. Without bothering to answer him, Jimin grabbed his fork and knife to eat his pasta silently.
His emotions were all over the place and he knew he's going to get scolded once they go back home and to be honest this was not what he expected to come out from such a beautiful night. This was supposed to be a memorable night for them, it was their first date and a first time for him to go out but he had to ruin it. But what was Yeonjun for if he still can't go outside.
Was he excited for nothing?
Not liking the silence and the sour mood around them, Jeongguk tried to pick up a conversation.
"Do you want some wine, it goes well with the pasta?" He asked Jimin who just shook his head no, without looking at him and continued to eat. This angered him more than he already was, how dare he ignores him, especially when he made an effort to free his schedule and finish his work up quickly so he could take him out.
"Drop this attitude right now" Jeongguk whispered to him annoyed by his childish behavior.
"I'm not arguing or saying anything. What do you want me to do huh?" Jimin asked equally annoyed at how Jeongguk was behaving.
"Stop behaving like an ignorant spoiled child! You should be grateful I brought you out here to dine and here you are sulking and ignoring me" Jeongguk angrily blurted out, not noticing his choice of words that made Jimin tear up but he kept them inside. Now Jimin felt awful, did he force Jeongguk to take him out? Wasn't this supposed to be a date but he just made it sound like a formal meeting or something.
"Thank you for bringing me out for a meal, next time I'll ask hyung to prepare one for me so you won't have to bother taking me out" Jimin replied softly, giving a small smile and moved to grab his glass when he felt his throat tighten and bile rise up. He instantly dropped his utensils and ran towards the men bathroom.
Luckily he was able to arrive on time and harshly puke his guts out, emptying his stomach. Jeongguk ran after him to find Jimin hunched over a sink, violently puking.
"f**k- are you okay?" He asked worriedly and moved ahead to hold him when Jimin glared at him to stay back.
"Let me be Jeongguk" Jimin said and continued to empty his stomach. Jeongguk flinched at the harshness of his muffins voice, he doesn't like Jimin calling him by his name as he was used to all the endearments Jimin used to address him with.
Tears that he tried to hold back were now freely spilling down his face and to add up to it the disgusting flavour replaced the aromatic one of his pasta. His face was now damp by his own sweat and he could feel the discomfort in his throat.
"Come let's take you home" Jeongguk said and approached him, ignoring his constant protest to stay back, and wrapped his arms around his waist as he pulled him up to help him wash his face.
After seeing the commotion the manager rushed inside to aid them when he saw Jeongguk carrying a tired looking Jimin.
"What happened sir?"
"I don't know you tell me? He went out puking after tasting your dish!" Jeongguk yelled, scolding the young man before him.
"I'm sorry sir but the food was prepared just about now and you seem to be fine" the manger tried to reason out but Jeongguk wasn't having any of it.
"I-i didn't like the smell" Jimin mumbled through his sour lips that still had the disgusting bitter taste on them, he'll definitely need to brush at least twice to get that taste out of his mouth.
"You heard him, bring a box out and pack it in front of me" Jeongguk ordered dismissing the manager and made his way out.
"Do you need water?" Jeongguk asked sweetly setting himself down on one of the chairs, Jimin still in his arms.
"Y-yes please.... I don't feel good Gguk... My tummy hurts" Jimin cried out holding his stomach making Jeongguk more worry.
"Don't worry I've already alerted our doctor he'll be there to check you" Jeongguk assured him and once he saw the manager himself pack Jimins meal he grabbed the box in one hand along with Jimin and made his way out.
His guards immediately came to him and grabbed the box from his hand and opened the car door. Jeongguk carefully slide inside and Jimin didn't waste another second before cuddling up next to him.
"C-can you turn on the AC?" Jimin mumbled feeling himself slip in and out of Oblivion.
"Of course, muffin. Do you want to grab something before leave?" He asked the younger who shook his head no and allowed himself to sleep.
