Annie’s eyes droop closed, the baby starts to slip from her arms, I grab him before he touches the water.
“Annie! Annie wake up” I shout at her. The babies both start to cry.
“Mason, can you take him too?” I ask him as I start to pass the baby over to him, he holds one in each arm.
“Go to Dr Falls’s office. I will be right behind you” I pick Annie up out of the tub, she is limp in my arms. I can hear her heart beating but it’s faint. I set her on the bed for a moment, while I wrapped her up in a sheet. She is losing a lot of blood, it’s soaking through the sheet already. I pick her back up and flee the room, going down to Dr Falls office.
“Ah there you are. Good job with the babies, they are very healthy” She turns towards us “Oh god. Come quickly set her down here” She m
