We finished playing games and it’s finally time to eat. I am starving.
“Can you bring me a big plate of food? I’m starved” I ask Mason who is getting up to grab a plate of his own.
“Of course Ma” He says, walking towards the food.
I feel suddenly emotional, tears welling up and pouring over. He has never called me that before, I am so happy. Max notices me crying and comes over quickly, leaving Kayden behind still talking.
“What’s wrong Little One?” He kneels down beside me, wiping away at my tears.
“He called me Ma.. He’s never called me by anything but my name before… I’m just really happy” I sob at him.
