We arrive at the party as set up is finishing. Kayden hands me a drink, whiskey on the rocks.
“What can I get you Luna?” He asks Annie
“Red wine please” she smiles at him
He nods and saunters away to the drink station. He returns a moment later with a fancy glass filled to the brim with red wine, with a blue umbrella in it.
“Are you trying to get me drunk?” She laughs as she takes the glass very carefully from him.
“Well… I almost fit a whole bottle in it..” He smiles like a little kid at her. I roll my eyes
“Are we early, do you need any help with anything?”
“Nope, we're all good man. Just relax for a while before the entertainment starts” He smacks my shoulder and walks away
