I stood there staring at Annie for the longest time, she just gave me life altering news and all I can do is stare at her.
“Please say something” She is crying now, I can feel her panicking.
“I just can’t believe I’m going to be a daddy!” I smile at her, wiping away her tears, “Don’t cry anymore love” I kiss her cheeks.
“I was so scared that you..” She trails off
“Shh, don’t ever think like that. A child is a blessing, we are going to have a family” I hold her close to me.
“Let’s go have a nice long relaxing bath” I suggest, taking her hand.
