Kay’s introversion and generally socially awkward demeanor were products of many compounding life experiences and innate personality traits; but if he were to pinpoint one of the bigger causes, it would have to be the fact that he grew in a town that loved its sports. Basketball, baseball, soccer and football—to name a few—were the go-to physical activities of most kids his age back then; all of which had a big socialization aspect.
