If I thought the Sanctuary by night was pretty before, it was even more gorgeous now I was sharing the views with someone. Not just someone. Felicity. The one person that wound me up the most and yet, I’d grown strangely fond of.
I glanced to my right, silently watching her as she tried to convince Kiki along. She looked so adorable talking to the fox and her pocketful of red beans that she was sprinkling along the ground to encourage the ginger kitsune. Seeing her like this, it was hard to believe this was the same person I loathed so much when we met.
