⚔️ CHAPTER 6: THE GATE OF SINS (FULL VERSION, 2000+ WORDS) Darkness didn’t fall. It rose. It crawled out from the broken crust of heaven like a serpent made of ancient whispers. The sky didn’t dim—it screamed, unraveling into strands of divine cloth as reality split before Zorakth’s eyes. Before him stood the Gate of Sins, a monolithic structure made of charred bone and cracked halos, half-buried in a crater of shattered stars. The edges dripped black ichor. The air throbbed with pain. And the symbols etched into the gate… they pulsed like a heartbeat. He stood motionless, his blade still steaming from his last battle. Behind him, the corpses of the Seraph Guard were still twitching—burnt, broken, erased from all memory by his new form. Zorakth lifted his eyes slowly. “So this is it… the door they feared more than death.” The wind moaned. The Gate responded—not with words, but with visions. Flickers of memories not his own: angels wailing as they were dragged into it, gods chaining it shut with spells written in blood, and a boy... a mortal... a child... marked at birth by the sin sealed inside. Him. He stepped forward. Each step toward the gate sent ripples through space, warping the dimension around him. His own shadow elongated unnaturally, taking on monstrous forms before snapping back to his feet. A whisper echoed in his mind, thousands of voices layered together, cracked with regret. “You were never meant to exist.” He smirked. “Too late.” His hand reached for the center of the gate. As his fingers touched the surface, it burned him—not with fire, but with remembrance. He saw his mother crying, his village burning, divine swords tearing through his family’s home. He heard his younger self screaming, begging, clawing at the sky. The gods had ignored him. The Gate opened with a scream. 🔥 THE REALM OF SIN Beyond the gate was no path. No ground. No sky. It was a swirling abyss of regrets, stitched together by chains of broken fate. Massive orbs hovered in the void, each representing a sin—Wrath, Envy, Greed, Pride, and more. Floating between them were the guardians—twisted abominations shaped by divine mistakes. Zorakth stepped inside, and instantly his body convulsed. Flashes of all he had done—every kill, every betrayal, every scream—assaulted him. Not just as memories. They bled out of him. Manifested as shadows trying to choke him. He dropped to one knee, his Hellbrand slipping from his fingers. “You are not worthy,” came a voice. Cold. Hollow. Timeless. A figure descended from the abyss. A mirror-being, cloaked in chains, with a face that shifted every second—sometimes a god, sometimes his father, sometimes… himself. “I am the Warden of Sins,” it hissed. “And you are the sin itself.” Zorakth looked up, eyes burning. “Then we’ve met at last.” ⚔️ THE FIGHT The Warden attacked, hurling spears made of broken prayers. Zorakth dodged, barely. His body felt heavy, like his guilt was being magnified. But this time, he embraced it. He grabbed one of the spears mid-air. It didn’t stab him—it fused with him, revealing a memory of when he first felt true wrath. That day… when a god laughed as his sister was erased. He screamed, and the wrath ignited. Hellfire burst from his chest. Zorakth lunged at the Warden, each strike powered not by divine energy, but by suffering. His suffering. His fury. His betrayal. The Warden cracked. But didn’t fall. “Your rage cannot kill me,” it spat. “I am your chains.” Zorakth grinned. “Then I’ll become the key.” 🩸 THE CORE SIN Deep within the realm floated a heart-shaped orb. Larger than a man. Burning black and pulsing with a rhythm older than time. The Core Sin. The source of rebellion. The first crime committed against god. Zorakth broke from the fight and ran toward it, deflecting sin-beasts and twisting phantoms. His limbs ached. His soul buckled. But the orb called to him. As he reached it, the Warden shrieked, “NO!” Zorakth touched the Core. And everything shattered. 🧠 THE ASCENSION He floated. In a limbo of thought and flame. The Core Sin wasn't a weapon. It was a choice. A test of identity. It showed him everything he could become: A tyrant drowning in divine blood A martyr burning to give mortals freedom A demon-god who ruled the ashes A broken man who walked away Zorakth screamed. And then, he chose. The Core melted into his chest, searing his flesh, branding him with the Mark of Synthesis — a forbidden symbol that blurred the line between god and sin. His eyes turned silver. Not divine. Not demonic. Something new. He opened his hand, and the space around him bent. 👑 THE GODS NOTICE In the upper realm, the Supreme Omni God’s meditation broke. He opened one eye—and for the first time in eternity, that eye showed fear. “The Gate…” he whispered. The other gods scrambled. The Divine Book flipped to a blank page. Oracles screamed and tore their own eyes out. Palaces shook. Realms cracked. And one name echoed across the celestial realm: ZORAKTH. 🧙‍♂️ THE PROPHECY BREAKS In a tower hidden outside fate, two figures watched. A hooded woman, her eyes sewn shut. And a knight wrapped in the bones of fallen deities. “The Core has been claimed,” the woman whispered. “He wasn’t supposed to reach it until Volume 9,” the knight said grimly. The woman shook her head. “The script is broken. He is rewriting the ending.” “What now?” The woman smiled. “We adapt.” 💀 THE RETURN Zorakth emerged from the Gate. His armor had changed—scarred with sin symbols, pulsing with internal flame. His Hellbrand had evolved—its edge now unstable, flickering between dimensions. And behind him… the Gate of Sins slammed shut, its chains reforging themselves around his mark. He had become its new Warden. A divine scout appeared before him—one of the gods’ last watchers. He trembled. “M-m-master Zorakth… th-the Divine Council seeks—” Zorakth raised one finger. And the scout exploded into a mist of feathers and gold. He looked to the sky. The divine realms hovered arrogantly above, their glow taunting. “I’m not done,” he whispered. He lifted his blade. “I’m coming for the throne.”
