Asher's POV I stared down at Abigail's sleeping figure, her face was void of all the chaos that surrounded her, relaxed with more peace than I'd ever seen her. I laid beside her, waiting and hoping on the moon goddess that she would forgive me, for lying, for keeping her in the dark, and much as I'd kept her safe, my lies turned out to be just another betrayal in her eyes.
