I stopped moving as soon as those men mentioned my name. My past had come knocking on my door and came the wrong way.
How was I ever supposed to know that one of these days they would show up?
I ignored Abigail who was staring at me, her eyes shining in curiosity as she watched me, hoping that I told her what exactly was happening but I was even two ashamed of my past to make such a move.
That was going to leave me bare and that was a lot of risk which I was not willing to take at the moment.
