Asher's POV. I made a u-turn just after I got to the pack gates. I should have caught these guys unaware. It wasn't going to be easy, but I kind of figured out that staying away also wasn't going to help matters; instead, it was going to be the worst thing in the case and make it even harder for me to dispel all of Abigail's fears. She had every right to panic, and I was not even trying to gaslight her into thinking that she was doing too much; however, I believed that she should have given me the benefit of the doubt, and then we would move on from that. Distinction of their bodies filled the air, as I moved on, refusing to allow myself to be enveloped by them. This hadn't even scratched the surface as I began to move into the dungeons, loving the fact that I could smell fear.
