Tonya He looked at me sharply. Pursing his lips, he took his phone out and gave it to me. I took it and realized there was no signal. It was like we were deep into the wild with no connection to civilization. Frustrated, I let out a rough exhale. After another twenty minutes, the jeep slowed. We were in the middle of nowhere.
