Today was finally the day. Tonight is the night of the full moon. I wasn’t able to sleep at all last night because of it. Because of that I was up extra early for breakfast. The ceremony wouldn’t be taking place until after midnight when the moon was at its highest peak in the night sky. I sat up with a sigh, trying not to think about how much longer I have to wait. I throw the covers off of me and stand up with a stretch letting out a big yawn in the process. It’s been a few days since I woke up in the woods. My bruises are fading and any scratches I had are now scabbed over. I’m still a little sore but am starting to feel better. At least I didn’t look like I was jumped anymore.
