I take a deep breath and step inside the circle. I immediately feel a rush of energy enter my body. I turn to look at my mother. “Don’t worry that’s normal, it’s the boundary spell.” I nod my head, “Okay.” She grabs a bowl from a nearby table, she puts herbs and flowers inside it and starts grinding them down into a paste with a pestle. She hovers her hand above the bowl with her palm face down. She mutters a few words under her breath and there is a flash of light in the bowl.
