CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

1046 Words
After Darren left I collapsed on the bed and thankfully I fell asleep into a dreamless sleep. I woke up to a banging on my door. “Hey are you alive in there!?” I turned around and groaned looking at the clock. Does that clock say 7pm? There was more banging and another “Hellooooo?” I sat up slowly rubbing my eyes. “Liza is that you?” I called out. I heard a “Duh!” on the other side of the door. I got up and made my way to the door. When I opened it I saw Liza there with her arms crossed holding a bag stuffed full of who knows what. “Thank god I was beginning to wonder if you were alive or not.” I laughed and opened the door further, gesturing for her to come in. “Sorry I didn’t get any sleep last night so I decided to take a nap, didn’t think I would sleep this long though.” Liza sat down on the bed and crossed her legs. She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively at me. “Oh who kept you up girl?” I laughed and shook my head. “No, nothing like that. I just had a bad dream and couldn’t go back to sleep.” Liza nodded her head. “Ah I see. Wanna talk about it?” I sat down on a chair across from her. “No that’s ok, it’s no big deal.” I didn’t exactly want to get into finding the cabin and all that right now. Right now I needed a distraction. “So what all did you bring in that bag there?” I pointed to the bag that she had brought with her sitting on the floor. She lifted the bag off the floor and unzipped it showing me what was inside. It was full of make up, clothes, and hair styling tools. “I brought us a few options to choose from!” Liza started pulling out the outfits she had brought along. She had brought a fire engine red body dress, a black leather two-piece outfit, and a sheer oversized black shirt. Liza was smaller than me so none of her clothes fit me accept for the oversized shirt. She grabbed the shirt and went through my wardrobe, trying to put together an outfit she deemed acceptable. After a while, she handed me a pile of clothes and told me to go change. She had picked out my black shorts and one of my black lacy bras along with her shirt. I tried it on. “I feel ridiculous.” She just shook her head and tsk’d at me “If you got it flaunt it.” I laughed and shook my head I turned and pulled a black tank top out from my dresser so I could put it on underneath. I wasn’t comfortable showing that much skin. Liza shook her head but conceded. She had chosen the red body con dress. It was even more eye-catching against her pale skin. She looked great. “Here, sit down let me do your makeup.” I sat down in front of my dresser and let Liza work her magic. I was grateful all I really knew how to apply was eyeliner and mascara. “So are you excited for the party?” She asked as she dug through her bag looking for what she needed. I shook my head yes. “I’ve never really been to a real party before, aside from the occasional birthday party or sleepover.” She looked up at me and gasped. “Well you weren’t really missing out on much I suppose. High School parties are child's play compared to Frat parties.” Once she had found what she had been looking for she begin to carefully apply it to my face. “Have you been to lots of parties?” She nodded her head yes as she tried to focus on what she was doing. “I’ve been to my fair share. My school was famous for them.” When she was satisfied she turned me to face the mirror. I didn’t recognize myself at first. She had done such a great job. The wing on my eyeliner was bold she also added some glittery gold eye shadow to add some color to my outfit. Along with a bold red lip. She had also done my hair half up in some elaborate braid, leaving some curls down to frame my face. “Wow” was about all I could muster admiring myself in the mirror. She came up behind me and smiled. “I know right, you look fantastic they’re not going to be able to keep their eyes off of you.” I blushed at the thought and shook my head. “What about you? You look amazing.” She giggled. “We’ll be the hottest ones there.” Liza had curled her long blonde hair so it was cascading nicely down her back. She did light makeup except for a bright red lip to match with her dress. And had on red heals to match. Meanwhile, I had thrown on my black combat boots and some gold jewelry to match my makeup. Satisfied with our outfits, we headed out of my room and made our way to the frat house. There were only a couple of fraternities and sorority houses on campus as we were mostly surrounded by woods. So they were all on the same street with two on either side across from each other. It looked like there were multiple parties going on tonight in all of the houses. The house that Liza stopped in front of had people pouring in and out of it at the same time. There were people even partying out front on the lawn. The music was blasting so loud you could hear it from down the street. The house itself was two stories and very large, every room was lit and you could see the silhouettes of people standing or dancing from the windows. Liza looked over at me and asked me excitedly. “You ready?” I nodded my head yes. “Lets do this.”
