Adrian was almost through with his breakfast when his phone chirped. He saw who the caller ID was and he didn't answer the phone.
It rang the second and third time and Richard suspected who the caller might be. Maybe that's Ava's parents, he thought.
“Why are you not answering your phone?” Richard asked and paused his meal, turning to glance at his son. Adrian is stubborn, a typical trait from his dad.
“It's Mr Leon. I don't owe that man anything so I don't know why he is calling me” Adrian replied flippantly. If there's anyone who owes him an explanation, it's his parents and grandfather.
“He is your father in-law. You should respect him and answer your phone” Richard cautioned. No matter what, he is married to Mr Leon's daughter.
