We step down from the carriage and head directly into the restaurant. The exterior is more grand and architecturally impressive than even the palace of the Ametheist Kingdom. I expect the interior to be just as opulent, but as soon as we enter, my expectations are crushed, and my expression turns sour. ‘What the actual f**k is this?’ Instead of classy, ultra-rich nobles, merchants, and esteemed officials—people you’d expect to frequent a restaurant of this caliber—I am greeted by the sight of dirty-looking men and women. Some are covered in grime and what seems to be black blood, the stench around them overpowering.
