Sophia raised her head along with the rest of her body slowly. They were still in a half embrace, she noticed. Was she the Gabrielle? Sophia pondered. She didn't what to do or say so she stood, rooted at that spot. She hadn't expected Gabrielle to be here so whatever words she had prepared in her head before now was suddenly forgotten.
"Sophia." Arixona repeated, amused. She looked back and forth from Lucas to Sophia and them back at Lucas. He was staring, the wistful apologetic kind you give a love interest.
Oh! Arizona gasped within. Is Lucas in love with this lady? Oh my god, finally!
"I-I'll come back some other time Lucas." Sophia said, subconsciously patting the kids' hair as a way of saying goodbye. Her eyes shifted to Arizona.
