Although Sophia was beside herself with anger, she couldn't and wouldn't take it out on the children. She was mad that she had to cancel her tour for a place to set up her musical school after receiving his emergency text. She had been out of the house, just minutes away from the first building she had to check out when her phone had beeped on. It wasn't usual for Lucas to ask someone else to pick up his kid—Sophia had come to realize that Lucas was protective when it comes to his kids— so when she had seen the text, despite it's inconvenience, she had turned around immediately and followed the address he sent to their school.
The kids had been surprised to see her and she had received warm greetings from parents who seemed to recognize her from the weekend hangout.
