Sophia went back into the hospital an hour later to find out what the doctor had to say about Mikel’s illness. Ethan and Logan asked if they could come with her, and although she had refused them, the two boys were worried about their brother.
Lucas was speaking with the doctor when they came. He was jovial, a good sign in Sophia's books that Mikel would be fine.
“How is he doing, doctor?” She cued into their conversation ignoring Lucas.
“Your child is doing perfectly well,” he answered.
“So what happened?”
“I believe it was food poisoning. He must have had something terrible for dinner.” The doctor responded.
