Silver's POV
“So what next?” Triscade asked. He held my hand as we strolled out of the Argyle's mansion.
“Do you want to come back to my place? Maybe watch a movie or …”
“Watch a movie?” I chuckled briefly. “Is that what the kids are calling it these days?”
“Ah!” He exclaimed with a goofy look.
“You caught me but for real, I just want to spend time with you. Let's forget all these things for just a second and just relax,”
“I will like that,” I replied.
He pulled me in for a kiss that had me elated. His hand firm on my waist , his presence felt safe and reassuring.
In a second, that feeling was replaced with a hole in my chest. A void that swallowed it whole , leaving only loneliness.
But, it wasn't my emotions. I was mirroring someone else.
