When Cassian sent Riona back, He went to his dormitory.
On all the way to dorm, He was in a deep thinking. He already have a small two starry house in the nearby area which he use in the weekdays when he don't have classes.
But if he wanna live there with Riona, it might be inconvenient for her to stay there with him in that house as it only have one bedroom. Moreover the space is two small for two people.
With this thought he didn't realized when he reached out to the dorm.
Before he reach there he news of he sending Riona had reached a long way before. And people were looking at him like seeing a ghost that turned into a human.
When he entered the room, His roommates were shocked to see Cassian in an confused state. They are the only people who can be considered as the closest circle of people in his past. And they are the one who stand by his side till the very end until he pushed them away. Even the cold aloof Cassian is a bit close with them.
"Cassian What is the matter? You look a slight different today. What happened? Is everything okay?", Sam asked.
"I am thinking about Riona's words.", Cassian said without realizing his words as he entered the room.
Andrew and Gabriel, the other two almost get dumb folded.
"Wait who?", Gabriel asked.
"Who is who?", Cassian asked.
"Just now you said, Riona. Did we heard it wrong?", All three said in synchronization.
"Did I?", Cassian asked as he sat down in his work desk and opened his laptop.
"You said, you are thinking about Riona's words.", The trio said and sat down near him.
"Nothing. It's just that we had a talk a few minutes before. and that is been in my mind. That's it. Nothing much. Don't bother about it.", Cassian said and was waiting for their respond.
"Then, Is that the junior of our department? I am asking there has been rumors that you both are dating each other.", Sam asked.
"What rumor?", Cassian was now to into the talk.
"It's said that some saw you two walking hand in hand and you sent her back to her dorm.", Sam answered.
"That's it?", Cassian asked in low voice.
"Not just that. It's that she has a crush on you and You guys have been dating for a long time. And Today, She even came to see you in the middle of class hours and you guys were lovely dovely in front of the entire class. We surely can't believe it as we know how you behave to those who take fancy on you. But It's wide spread. Some even claim to have taken photos of it.", Sam said in one go and was waiting for Cassian to go wild on this rumor.
But to his surprise, Cassian was calm as he was typing in his phone while listening to him speaking.
They were awaiting a storm.
Cassian simply opened a photo and showed to them and in calm tone asked, "Is this the one you guys were speaking about?"
"Yeah... How did you find it?, Sam again asked.
"Simple Riona sent it to me as she was angry at me because I made it hard for her to survive among those girls.",
"Wait, That means the rumor about you two..."The trio asked.
"Yeah, It's all true. We are in a relationship. But only a partnership like project partners...", Cassian said as Riona texted him that she made it like that to avoid the anger of other Fans of Cassian.
"Partnership..?What do you mean by that?", They again asked.
