As she leaned, Cassian understood that she was missing those days when both of them were together. He never gave the warmth a boyfriend give to his girl and never told he his feelings. Even he missed those time.
As he decided to change, He brought up all his courage and began but got interrupted by Riona
"Cassian, opps, Senior....", she stressed it.
Cassian smiled and said," Call me whatever you feel like calling me."
"What if I feel like calling you Darling, Dear, or something like that....?", She said as she looked straight in his eyes. She know that Cassian too had feelings for her.
"I said call me Whatever you feel like calling me.", As he said he stroke the hair that is falling on Riona's face.
"Cassian.....?", Riona looked puzzled.
"Riona, I know you are aware that I have feelings for you. I also Know I never expressed it in our past. But this time around as we were given a second chance, Why don't I make up for everything I was ignorant of once....".
When Cassian was talking, Riona can sense the sincerity in his words. She know Cassian the best to the extend she can tell what he will be thinking in an instance without his uttering a word.
She immediately grabbed him by his neck and hugged him.
"Cassian, You don't need to do this. I am happy as long as you let me be your side. Don't push me away again. I don't need anything.", She said in a calming voice.
Cassian hugged back.
"You never know, Riona, How much I missed and regretted pushing you away. I only did it to not drag you with me. But I really liked you from the beginning. I never let you know."
"Even if you didn't show me your feelings, I can understand you. That is why I never give up on you.", She said as she break from the hug.
After venting out what was in his mind, Cassian Again turned into the workaholic he used to be.
"You were about to tell something...", Cassian.
"Yeah, But now forget it. It is not easy for you to open up. Let's not waste this time. We still have a lot of time to do things right. So....", Riona said in order to cover up the fact that she actually forgot the thing she wanted to tell him as they got distracted from the topic. And she is now in the cloud nine. So she doesn't want to let this moment go waste.
"So.... What?", Cassian asked as he understood that she forgot it.
"Shall we go out?", She asked as she turned her face away from Cassian not letting him she her shyness.
"You mean a Date?....", Cassian asked with a straight face.
"You can say that in that way. I am not forcing you to go. You can still reject if you don't want to. Anyhow it was someone who said he will compensate for all those time and not me who asked for it.", She said in a low voice which faked a disappointment.
"But who was the girl that sat here a moment ago said that she doesn't need a compensation but only a place for being with me. Did you see that one Riona.", Cassian asked in a playful manner.
It was new to Riona to see this playful face of Cassian. She literally jaw dropped and , "Cassian, Is that really you? Or did your got swapped. I never knew you can be this witty yet cringe when say things like this. It's like, I am getting to know you again. I guess it will take time for me to get used to these type of conversation with you."
"If you really want to get used to me quickly, Move to my place Riona....", Cassian said as he stood up to move.
"That I still need to think about it.", Riona get up following Cassian.
