I quickly got up and followed him out.
"Demetri is in the kitchen. He'll talk to you there." He said it plainly, leading me through the house without looking back to check if I was keeping up.
Other people in house gave me long hard glares as I walked with him.
When we entered the kitchen, the tension was already sitting thick in the air before I had even fully stepped inside. My gaze first settled on Demetri's back as he stood at the stove stirring a pot, then moved to the others filling the space.
