# 8. Chapter Eight
"Ivy what's your excuse?" Rex asked when we got home. The whole family looking me was somehow
"I just wanted to breath some fresh air" Ivana replied her husband pouting
" Let's go home, must be tired from your
failed trip right? " Rex asked helping her get up.
"Babe I was gonna call you after arriving, infact I only wanted to stay a few days there " she said.
"Ivy what's wrong with you? Do you know you're carrying a life in there ? Stop it already" Natalie Adams , Ivan's mother scolded her daughter.
"We're sorry ?" we apologise non-stop but that didn't stop them from scolding us.
After the unending scolding,I went upstairs while Ivana went home with her husband.
She was surprised that he didn't even get angry at her nor his best friend.
" My Rex I'm sorry for what happened earlier, it's wasn't intentional " she said immediately they arrived home
"It's okay let's go inside and get you some food" he said opening the car door.
" You're not angry?" Ivana asked carefully
"No why will I be angry at you or Jas ? It's wasn't her fault let's go inside" he said and carried her to the bathroom and took a warm shower before feeding his wife.
Myself on the other hand, was very angry but had no choice but to negotiate with the so-called husband when they meet.
"Jasmine have you shopped for a nice outfit for tomorrow evening?" mother asked during dinner.
" Can I not go? Please? "
"No it's a welcome party for your husband" father said seriously
I said nothing and ate my food ignoring the looks from her brothers and grandparents.

"Were you planning to leave us with Grandpa and Grandma?" Rissa voice echoed as she entered her mother's room with her brothers behind.
"No darling why will I think of such?" I answered with a sad face.
" You wanted to run so that you can start a new life without us right ?"
"No my pearl I was going to come back when..."
"I'm sure that wouldn't have happened you wanted to leave like the r****t" Ranelle said almost in tears.
I was already feeling frustrated but now helpless.
" Did you even think about us? Mom are you ashamed of us or what?" Ryan asked crying
"No why will I be ashamed of my amazing and wonderful kids? You're my life and I will never do it again I promise. I'm sorry ?" I pleaded with them
" Aren't you a Christian, do Christian run away from their responsibilities?" Risley who have been quite suddenly asked.
I walked up to him and squatted to his level " I was only afraid because I didn't want to start anything that has to do with relationship and..."
"If you didn't have us, you had a life you wanted to live, is it not every girl's dream to go out on dates and get proposed to and get married?"
"Definitely, that's my dream Ris " little Rissa replied jumping on the bed
"Mom, go live the life you planned for yourself and we promise to always be there for you and we've also checked the details of the guy and we're very sure he's a nice guy" Risley hugged me who was already in tears.
How they grew up so fast still amazes me
"You guys knew about my plans?" I asked after a few minutes.
"No but we did think you might do such so we told Grandpa and he gave orders to all officials in any of the entries in to the county" Ranelle said
"Mom don't be afraid, we've got ya back and always know that we love you and hope to see you happy" Rissa said and the boys nodded in agreement.
