A SECOND MURDER, AND A BRITISH WOMAN VANISHES
Another murder victim has been discovered near Melanes, and a British woman has disappeared. Inspector Cristopoulos of Naxos Police said:
‘The body of a man was discovered yesterday in a traditional shepherd’s hut a few kilometres from Melanes. We are trying to establish the victim’s identity, the cause and time of his death, and his recent movements. The victim was in his thirties and may be a local man. His death probably occurred about a week ago. The police urgently want to hear from anyone with information that would assist them in their investigation.’
