Chapter 22Dylan made a face as he looked down at his math questions. Taggart hovered on the edge of the library table, his mind alert to Dylan’s struggle, but mostly backing off. He’d worked with Dylan for only two sessions so far, but after the first one had ended with Dylan finally understanding fractions, Taggart had some faith that this session would also pan out—even if the act of adding and subtracting integers were more difficult than even Taggart remembered. He’d brushed up online, and gotten his own test answers correct, but there was only so much Taggart could really prep himself before the student sat down in front of him. Dylan lifted his pencil.
