“Thomas!” I scream his name while rushing towards him.
He’s choking, but I can’t see why. It doesn’t make sense; there is nothing wrapped around his throat, but he’s trying to pull something away.
“Stay where you are, Lillian.”
I stop in my tracks and blink at the handsome man addressing me. He seems familiar, but I can’t recall where I’ve seen him before.
“What the hell have you done to this girl, Thomas? You have her parading around in next to nothing. She is the future Supreme of Lykos!”
“Please, let him go,” I beg, but the man shakes his head with a smile. “Please?”
