Chapter 3

1120 Words
I have to go get my sister from the airport because she insisted I come to pick her up, not my boys. She is coming home for a holiday, and thank God my best friend is available. We will go to the restaurant together since I've promised my sister to take her out. Ryan is a 25-year-old young man who inherits his parents property and takes over his father's company at the age of 21. Ryan has ocean blue eyes, is 6’7 tall, is muscular, and has a broad shoulder, which makes him more handsome. Ryan is a heartless, ruthless, and cold man, but when it comes to his younger sister, he is a gentle man. Ryan only cares for his younger sister, Anna, and his best friend. Anna is 18 years old, a very beautiful young girl studying at one of the biggest schools in America. My sister will be flying home today. with our private jet. I already told the maids to set up her room and her dancing room. I woke up to the ringing of my phone, pressing the answer button without checking the caller ID. “Hello,” Ryan said in a sharp tone. “Remind me to kick your ass when I get there; why did you use that tone? It's not like I'm asking about your ex.” My best friend Sean said: He is the only person who bitches me about the way I talk every time, and he is also annoying as f**k. “You have something important to say.” I groused at him and rolled my eyes as if he could see me. “Asshole, I want to ask when the Anna flight will take off.” Sean asked, chuckling. “I don't know; I've not called yet. Besides, if she wanted to come early, she would have informed me,” I said, annoyed. “Don't sound as if they're forcing you to talk!!” He shouted that I needed to remove the phone from my ear for the safety of my eardrum. That guy is really pain in the ass. “Yeah, whatever,” I said, hanging up before he said anything stupid. A knock on my door. “Yes,” I said. One of my maids, Alia, informed me that breakfast was ready. I walk into my bathroom to wash up. I missed my little witch, my sister. My one and only blood, a character on her own and fun to be with. I dialled her number, and she picked up immediately. "Someone is missing me,” she said, definitely smiling. I love it when she is happy. I changed it to a FaceTime call. “Hey, good morning, champ,” I said, smiling. “Morning handsome, getting ready for work already,” she said, smirking. She and my annoying best friend always called me a workaholic; they always told me to go and live in Hong Kong, where they barely have time for themselves except to work. “Today is Saturday, Miss; when was the last time you checked the calendar?” I said sarcastically. "Well, it won't be a surprise if you work on the weekend." She said she was smiling. “When will your flight take off?” I asked, ignoring her comment. “Mister, I'm already inside the plane,” she said, rolling her eyes. "Really?” I asked, surprised. “Yeah, I've missed you,” she said, sighing. “I missed you too; don't worry, just a few hours to see each other,” I said cheerfully. “Yeah, right, is Sean at your place?” she asked. “No, but he will be here before you arrive, and then we will go out and eat,” I said. "It sounds good,” she said, excited. “Any gist for the girls?” Anna asked. I know what she wants to hear. She has been pressuring me to get a girlfriend, as if I wanted to. She thinks maybe I've not gotten over my ex; she doesn't want me to be alone, and she hates being alone whenever she comes home. I'm not ready for any wreckless relationships now; I've got something else on my mind. “I'm taking you to your favourite restaurant,” I said, smiling. “Really, Yay!” She shouted, and excitement filled her face. “So any gist for your handsome?” I asked, laughing at her cute reaction. “Well, yeah, I applied for dance training in Korea, and I got in, so from next month I will be super busy with my training, and one day you can come and watch me dance." She said it happily. She loves dancing. “Really?” I asked, feeling sad. “Yeah, I know you won't believe either, and I didn't believe either when I first saw the email saying I got in. Wait, you don't sound happy,” Anna said. “I really believe in you, and I'm so f*****g proud of you. I'm just sad that you didn't tell me anything about it until now,” I said, a bit sad. “I know, and I'm sorry. I just thought that if I tell you, you may call them directly and make me get in without writing the exam, and you know I hated that, and I just want to be like a normal person,“ she explained. “You know I will never do that because I know you hate it. Besides, I never do anything without telling you first,” I said, still sad. “I'm sorry, handsome, and I've already gotten in,” she said. "So, how many of you are in your group?” I asked “I've not gone there yet; I just applied online, and they said they would test us before they could group us and go to the advanced training,” she said. “That's good. I wish you the best, champ,” I said. “Thanks, why don't we just go to the restaurant directly from the airport?” Anna asked “Okay, let me inform Sean,” I said, hanging up the call. I will just send a text message to the annoying prick because I don't have time for his bullshit. After picking up Anna, I went directly to the restaurant, as she suggested. We stopped at the front of the restaurant and came down to see the manager and the workers standing waiting for us. All of them were looking at us, stunned. The manager showed us inside and called one of the waitresses to explain all the varieties that they had prepared. I can't believe what I'm looking at in front of me.
