Chapter 11 Br’er hung up his cell and stared blankly across the room at Mazie, who was reclining on the couch with Mickey tucked behind her knees. She glanced up from the magazine she’d been reading and saw his expression. “What’s up?” “That was Ra…uh…Randy.” “I gathered that.” “He cancelled our weekend plans.” “Ah, so now it starts.
