Br’er awoke to find Ray leaning his head on an elbow, and smiling down at him.
“Good morning.” Ray bent down to kiss him.
“Good morning, yourself,” Br’er replied as he pulled Ray into an embrace and kissed him again.
Ray sat back up. “I thought we’d be nerdy tourists today and do some sightseeing. That okay with you?”
Br’er nodded. “Yeah! And the first sight I want to see is…” He threw back the covers and let his eyes roam over Ray’s face and body. “Oh my,” he said in mock seriousness. “I’ve never seen anything like this. The tour books don’t give it justice. Where’s my camera. I need a picture to post on Facebook.”
“Whoa, Jack. You’re kidding, right?”
“Of course,” Br’er said, “But I do want to do a little exploring right here before we head out to hit the ‘sights of interest’ trail.
