Lenny's POV
I started to drink my lemonade as Van came in. He looked my way and I waved. Act cool I told myself. This isn't a date. Your just taking him out as a thank you for helping out at your store.
"So why did you call me here?" Van asked as soon as he sat down then he smiled. "Did you change your mind about the cruise?" he asked.
"Nope." I said drinking my lemonade again and he frowned. "Sorry Van but this is about me thanking you for...everything." I said sighing and looked down.
I don't appreciate him as much as I should.
I looked up and he was blinking at me. "For everything? I didn't do anything." he said and I couldn't help but smile.
I forget Van just does things thinking anyone would do that for a person. That's one of the things I love about him.
