Van's POV
Lenny gets pulled away to the emergency room at the hospital. I felt my throat knotting up. I swallowed hard watching as nurses pulled him away. I sat down and covered my face.
It's okay....he'll be okay..... I shouldn't have walked away.
Sometimes you don't think you just act.
After an hour or two of pacing and ignoring calls I decided to go to the nurse at the desk. She looked up at me then looked back down at something. I tapped my fingers on the desk and she looked up again.
"Can I help you?" she asked.
"Are visitors allowed to see Len...Lenny in room 25?" I asked biting my lip hard.
"Family can only go see him. Like siblings, parents, spouse." she said and I looked down.
