We got to the pack house and I gave my keys to Arlo for him to park my car! I stormed in and Rhianna threw herself at my. I pushed her off and roared

“GET IN THE ALPHA OFFICE NOW!”

My dad stood up and I just stared at Rhianna in disgust!

“Gamma! Your daughter has some f*****g explaining to do! Why don’t you tell us all what really happened Rhianna?”

“I don’t understand, I’ve told you what happened, Alyra broke my nose for no reason”

“So you’re tell us that YOU did not claim to be my mate? Or that I asked you to go to the graduation ball? Or this one, tell MY MATE THAT SHE SHOULD LEAVE???”

Rhianna stood up and started shouting

“NO SHES LYING, DADDY SHES LYING! IM TELLING YOU THE TRUTH, I WAS MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS AND SHE JUST BROKE MY NOSE IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. ASK AMELIA! SHE WAS THERE!”

“Quit the lies Rhianna, I heard everything that happened, I was with Alyra the whole time, we all heard what you said to her! She did what everyone else wanted to do! I’m so proud of my Luna” I gave Liam a nod in thanks.

Gamma started yelling at his daughter telling her she was a disgrace and that she was raised better than this.

“The only reason I’m not banishing your from our pack is out of respect for your father! BUT you will NOT be competing in the tournament next week. I will not have a manipulative b***h lead the pack with me! You will also be thrown into the dungeons!!! You better hope my mate comes back to me soon Rhianna, or you will rot in there!”

“No please Hunter, I’m sorry! Don’t put me in the dungeons please I’ll do anything”

“Little too late, you should have stayed out of Alyra and my relationship! When you get out of those dungeons you better spread the word that NO ONE BUT ALYRA IS MY MATE! The next b***h to come between us will be banished! I’m so f*****g done with this s**t!”

I looked at my parents and they both nodded in agreement, I linked the guards to come and get Rhianna!

Liam let them in.

“Do not let her out unless I tell you too. She will stay in the dungeons for as long as your future Luna is away! I will release her when she returns”

“Yes Alpha”

Gamma looked hesitant and looked uncomfortable.

“Gamma, I’m sorry, but I couldn’t not punish her for this”

“No Hunter, I am sorry, I never thought my daughter was capable of this. Thank you for not banishing her. I’m very sorry about Alyra, I hope she comes home soon”

“Me too! For your daughters sake!” He nodded and left the room!

Once everyone had cleared the room, my dad gave me a hug.

“What’s that for?”

“You are going to be an amazing leader to our pack and I couldn’t have asked for a better son to take over”

“Thanks Dad, that means a lot!”

“I know you are hurting right now but she will come back, Charlotte will chew her ears off that she will be begging to come home”

We all laughed but then I remembered about what happened earlier.

“Mum, I need to ask you something. Today when Alyra ran away from me, I felt a burst of emotion that I nearly fell over and then nothing! I couldn’t feel her in our bond and she had blocked our link. What’s happening Mum? I can’t feel her”

“Ahhhhh this happened to your father. Your father had so many admirers and got around before he met me. There were a few angry and jealous she-wolfs when I moved here and gave us similar issues to what you are dealing with. Honey, Alyra must have been very vulnerable and something very bad has triggered her insecurities and has shut down. She wouldn’t have meant to do it.”

“I don’t even want to know what those bastards did to her but I hate myself for letting it get this far that her body has shut Loki and I out”

I decided to link Charlotte

“Charz please tell me she’s ok and wants to see me?”

“No she’s still very heartbroken Hunter. You royally f****d up here! She’s asking if you don’t want her to be the Luna now”

“NO PLEASE TELL HER I DO!”

“Ouch my head! Of course I reassured her. Hunter she needs space, give her til the morning and I will call you, that’s if she wants to speak to you then”

“I need to speak to her, I need to tell her how sorry I am”

“Hunter STOP! Your killing me here. Stop giving me a headache and stop messaging her, she’s not replying for a reason. She’s not ready to speak to you yet. I will call you tomorrow! Keep my mate entertained he’s bored and keeps linking me. I need to focus on Alyra”

“Ok ok I’m sorry! I’m going to get the boys in the gym for a few hours. Thanks Charzy, I really appreciate you being there for her. I love you”

She didn’t reply so I linked the boys to meet me in the gym.

I walked in and Joel was already working out.

“Hey Man, keeping busy are you?”

“It’s the only way I can keep my mind off Charlotte being gone for so long. I hate being away from her.”

“Sorry guys, it’s my fault both your mates have gone. What do you say about a round of sparring? I’ll let you get a few good ones in”

Joel laughed and said he was in. Eric smirked and said “ only if you let me win”

I started with Eric first. As lead warrior he’s a very good fighter, he knows all my techniques as we train together, I let him get a few good blows to my head but I couldn’t let him win.. I got him in a headlock and he tapped out. As an Alpha, there’s no way I could forfeit a fight even if it was just a spar between friends.

I was really excited to see how Joel fights, I’ve heard he’s very good and not even his brother, the Alpha of Hidden Valley cannot defeat him.

We started sparring and he blocked all my moves. He got a few good hits on me but I made it out like I meant to let him get them. We end up with an audience and that’s when I realised we had been sparring for almost 1 hour!

“Wanna call it bro?”

“Yeah Man, none of us are going to win. We are equally as good!”

We bumped fists and ended our spar. Everyone was cheering for us, we must have put on a good show!

“I like that technique you did with your legs. Maybe you could join Eric’s training session tomorrow and show us some of your techniques”

“Yeah I would love to, if Eric doesn’t mind!”

“No way! I’d love to learn how you do that and I’m sure some of our warriors would too”

“You’re going to ace being Aloha for the White Moon pack! They will be very lucky to have you and Charlotte lead them!”

“Any news on when that’s happening?”

“Council have all the evidence they need, we are just waiting on the green light and then our spy will give us a time to go in”

“Sweet as! I can’t wait! It’s not going to easy, Charlottes stressing out that she won’t be able to give the pack members what they need but I have so much faith in her”

“She’s exactly what they need. And once they are back on their feet, we will merge the 2 packs”

“Charlotte has already started drawing up her plans for our wing, just warning you though, it’s over the top!”

“I wouldn’t expect anything less from my little sister!”

I headed to the showers and went to my room. I looked up the local florist on the island and ordered some flowers and chocolates to be delivered in the morning. There’s no amount of flowers and chocolates I could buy to make up for what I’ve done but this is just the beginning. I was thinking of other ways I could make it up to Alyra when I felt light headed. I could feel something tugging at me and then I felt a rush to the head and thought I could feel Alyra!

“Alyra?”

I felt a shock run through me and some confusion.

“Alyra please, say something” and then I heard her shaky voice. My poor Angel sounded miserable. I just wanted to wrap my arms around her and make it all go away.

My heart jumped when she asked me to come to her. Of course I would, even though I HATE with a passion having to shimmy, I’d do it for her. I’ll spend the rest of my life doing it if it means I can keep her happy.

As soon as I arrived I could see her distraught face and her eyes were puffy. I began to apologise until she shushed me and and kissed me with so much love and passion. This made Loki howl and I’m sure he’s happy to feel Mae as well. I fell backwards on the bed and made love to my mate all night long until the sun came up.
